Ziggy is a precious pup in a large body, but is most likely fully grown.   He is blossoming beautifully in his foster home! Ziggy loves pets and hugs and is   house- and dog-door trained. Great on leash and LOVES to play with other friendly, active dogs. It's obvious that Ziggy is not purebred Labrador Retriever, we believe he has small amount of Husky or other northern breed as his build is more compact and he is lighter on his feet than a large Lab. He is very  obedient and eager to please, a quick learner, and full of fun! Ziggy thrives on attention and is food-motivated, which is very helpful with training. He requires a high fence and barks and sometimes "talks" when he is very excited to communicate.   He absolutely absolutely loves his foster sister, who is  a hearty playmate! Ziggy MUST HAVE an attached, private yard and another friendly, playful dog who weighs at least 45 lbs. Ziggy runs fast and sometimes has an upright play style, like a bear! He enjoys chasing toys and has a prey drive, so no smaller dogs  please! Ziggy will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements.
