Beautiful friendly Harmony (two years old) was surrendered to the shelter by her owner. When she arrived there she only weighed 4.6 lbs (that's what a 5 month old kitten should weigh not an adult cat) and she was bald on certain areas of her body. She was rushed to the vet to see if something was wrong and it wasn't, she was perfectly healthy. We believe that the hair loss was simply a result of being malnourished because her fur is growing back nicely (it's still got some growing to do). She's a very tiny girl, but she is up to six pounds now and will likely always be a "mini cat".   She does love her wet food and she deserves to eat as much as she wants after being so underfed. We're really not sure what happened with Harmony, did her owners not know what to feed a cat, were they only feeding her table food..... could they not afford to feed her ?, we'll never know. Despite what her first two years of life were like, she is an immensely friendly girl who adores everyone she meets.
