Three days ago, we drove to Navasota to pick up eight dogs from what we can only describe as a breeder "dump." The woman who had them passed away. Her elderly husband struggled to care for them. What we walked into was heartbreaking. They were in horrible condition – Severe skin infections Painful ear infections Nails so overgrown they curled into their pads Two are heartworm positive All needed to be spayed/neutered - Complete Several required full mouth extractions (FME) due to chronic dental neglect Some came to us with zero teeth All are frightened, traumatized, and confused Their suffering is real. Their recovery will be long. Sadly, this baby is heartworm positive. We pay for treatment. He is available for FOSTER or FOSTER-to-ADOPT only.   He is missing an eye. He will not go to a home with an inground pool due to his visual impairment.
