Meet Cadence & Gibson – A Bonded Pair Looking for a Forever Home, Together Cadence and Gibson aren’t just dogs—they’re a promise. A promise made to a person who loves them deeply, who is now in hospice care, and whose greatest wish is to know that these two beloved companions will stay together and find happiness in a new home. These two have shared a life full of love, adventure, and quiet companionship. They’ve explored woods, water, romped through dog parks, and curled up together at the end of the day. They are happy, gentle souls who bring joy to everyone they meet. Gibson is a big-hearted goofball who lives to love. His favorite thing in the world is kids—he just hasn’t quite mastered the art of gentle greetings yet. We’re working on his manners, but his enthusiasm is pure gold. He’s also a bit of a dreamer—literally. His sleep is filled with what can only be described as full-length feature films, complete with sound effects and dramatic flair. It’s just Gibby being Gibby. He’s healthy, happy, and occasionally falls out of bed mid-dream, but he always bounces right back. Cadence is the quieter half of the duo. She’s blossomed into a confident, curious girl, but she still prefers to make the first move. With a little patience and a gentle approach (and maybe a game of “Freeze” with the kids), she’ll warm up and show you her sweet, loyal heart. She’s come so far, and she deserves a home that will let her keep growing. They’re both dog-friendly, and they’ve even made friends with rabbits, guinea pigs, and a ferret. Cats? Well, they’ve only met one, and it was a feral feline who was ready to throw hands. So, jury’s still out on that one. They need a fenced yard to run and play, and a family or couple who can give them the love and stability they’ve always known. We know it’s a big ask to take in two dogs, but it’s a promise we’re trying to keep—for them, and for the person who loves them most. If you can find it in your heart to give Cadence and Gibson the home they deserve, please apply now. Time is precious, and knowing they’ll be safe and loved—together—would bring peace to someone who’s given them everything.
