This girl was dumped at the shelter to be euthanized.  Her mouth was in pretty bad shape, and now she only has 1 tooth left.  Sadie was in a great deal of pain, screaming each time we touched her.  We knew something was seriously wrong with her.  We took  her back to our vet for xrays and they revealed a spinal injury.  Commonly known as 'collapsing vertebrae'.  I believe it's also referred to as 'spondylosis'. We'll upload images next week when our vet opens and can send them to us.  For now, she's on pain management and total crate rest.  Her back/spine is inflamed and angry.  She needs to heal.
