Meet Dixie!  If you're looking for a hyper intelligent and active young dog to bring into your family, Dixie is perfect for you! She's super social and looking for a home that will let her use her brain and learn all sorts of new things. She is already a master at 'Sit' and walks nicely at your side with the proper equipment. She is attentive and often looks to her person for confirmation on what to do next.  As previously stated, Dixie is a very social and outgoing girl. She loves kids, playing with other dogs, and overall just making as many friends as possible. Her doggy playstyle can be a little pushy, but she responds well to corrections from other dogs if they don't want to play with her in the moment. This girl has so much to give and just needs a family to help her reach her highest potential. Could that be you? Call the Ranch to come meet her today! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
