Vikki is a special girl who is looking for a new home. She is with our rescue partner in Louisiana. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial for approved adopters. At 2 years old and 62 pounds of pure joy, Vikki is ready to light up your life!  She's the whole package, dog, cat and kid friendly (although maybe better with older kiddos because of her size).  Vikki is playful, fun-loving and always ready for an adventure.  She is a favorite with the shelter volunteers and loves soaking up cuddles from them. Vikki is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm. She can come to NJ in August if we find a foster or adopter to help her through his treatment (2 visits to our vet and 4 weeks of rest) or she can come in October after treatment is completed. Her adoption fee is $450.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption.
