Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Chester! Chester is a 5-month-old Labrador retriever who has already endured more than any puppy should. He has two broken legs—one from a previous fracture—and has been living in constant pain. We don’t know exactly what happened to him, though it’s likely he was hit by a car. What we do know is that his journey to healing starts today. Chester is new to our rescue, and we’ll share more about him as we get to know him better. For now, what he needs most is a safe and loving place to recover. With the right care and surgery, we are hopeful both of his legs can be repaired so he can walk, run, and play like the happy puppy he deserves to be.
