Ike was surrendered to the shelter with his sister (?) Theia. Both kitties were born missing some of their eyelids but that doesn't stop him from closing his eyes or impair his vision in any way. They were having an issue with their eyelashes irritating their eyes. So both kitties made a trip to a special hospital in NY where they had their eyelashes lasered off.
