Meet Mimi:   Mimi is a stunning 6.5-year-old fun, friendly, playful girl. Her soulful brown eyes contrasting her sleek black coat and her pretty little face will make you want to give her everything she wants. If you are looking for a constant companion and a friend to accompany you to all the places, Mimi might be your girl. That is code for Mimi has some separation anxiety. She is doing well in her foster home and does enjoy the company of the other dogs. She isn't even bothered by the cat. There has not been any destructive behavior during the times her foster family does leave home. Mimi loves being with her person and given her druthers she'd be in physical contact with them 24/7.    Some of Mimi's other favorite activities include playing with her ball and her stuffies. She is down for a nice nap in her bed or on a comfy chair if your lap is otherwise occupied. She is a mellow, loyal girl with a very affectionate demeanor. She knows sit, is great on the leash and also does very well on car rides. Mimi is also house trained, and she is very good for her bath and grooming activities. This diva loves being pampered!    We are told that Mimi was attacked several times by bigger dogs with her former family so she can become defensively aggressive if approached by a bigger dog. We have not had Mimi in a situation to observe that behavior but as with any dog, introductions will need to be safe and supervised on leash. Mimi does have a voice and she's not afraid to use it. Apartment living might not be for her.  She can take some time to adapt to new situations, but who among us is perfectly adaptable? Mimi shows a history of needing her anal glands expressed. She has been eating Fresh Pet while in her foster home and there have not been any issues noted.
