MEET BRUNO! *AVAILBLE PENDING NEUTER* Bruno is a very sweet, affectionate, loyal 3-year-old pug who has energy to spare but also is readily available for pug snuggles at a moment's notice. Playful and curious, Bruno loves to follow his foster parents all over the place and has enjoyed the company of his 3 older pug foster siblings. Whoever needs a nap, human or canine, Bruno is there for it!    Bruno has a submissive demeanor. He loves his food, but when one of his foster siblings tries to nudge him away, he readily shares or walks away. For this reason, he is often fed separately. He loves his food though as well as an occasional chew on a nice Benebone. Don't bother him with Greenies though, not a fan. Bruno would love the companionship of one or more pugs/dogs in his new home. If not dogs, then humans who were around much of the time to provide him with lots of love and security. There are no children is his foster home, but we believe Bruno would do great with them. He has not been cat tested. Fun fact about Bruno: He can actually catch his tail when he chases it! he may win the trick competition at the annual Pug Social if he enters! Another fun fact? He loves being groomed and COOPERATES with nail trims! Virtually unheard of!   Bruno is a bright boy who is eager to please. He knows sit, stay and come and he is both praise and food motivated. Continued work with him will result in a well-mannered, love sponge who will be welcomed wherever he goes. He loves to run around and play in his fenced yard and really enjoys his daily walks where he gets to meet and make new friends of both the human and canine variety. He does do a little pulling when he becomes aware of a potential friendly encounter, so a firm grip on his leash and continued loose leash training will be needed for safety. When arriving in foster care Bruno did quite a bit of marking. This behavior has greatly improved, and we believe his upcoming neuter will keep him moving in a positive direction. Some regression in this area should not come as a surprise to his new family. Bruno is a nosey neighbor and likes to bark with outdoor activity. If you have beef with your neighbor, he may escalate the conflict. If in fact that neighbor comes by, he will also let you know the doorbell is ringing. Just in case you don't hear it.    The bottom line is that Bruno is a clever, sensitive, adaptable and adorable young pug that any adopter will be very lucky to welcome into their home. Once he is neutered and recovers from that procedure, Bruno has very little concerns as far as his health is concerned.  Think you'd like to add this little guy to your family?
