Meet Kailani, a 1-year-old, 47-pound pittie mix with a calm, snuggly spirit. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who would rather cuddle than chase toys, Kailani is your girl. This affectionate queen loves nothing more than leaning in for affection. She’ll gently place her paws on your knees and rest her head in your lap like it’s exactly where she belongs. She has a quiet energy that makes her an easy dog to be around. On a recent field trip, Kailani rode like a champ in the car, calmly watching the world go by from the back seat. On leash, she preferred sniffing and exploring at her own pace over structured walking, and loved stopping to gaze peacefully out over the water. She was curious but calm passing people and dogs.  Kailani doesn’t know many commands yet, but she’s eager to connect and would thrive in a patient, loving home. She could be wonderful with a well-matched dog buddy or soak up all the love as your one and only. Either way, she’s ready to grow into an amazing companion!
