Foster or forever home wanted, meet Billy. Billy showed up at the Lancaster shelter without a microchip or any identification. A female named Mandy also arrived at the same time. We are unsure if they are related but they look alike and appear to be the same age. Both Billy and Mandy were not well cared for and seem very overwhelmed. As happens often, only a few days at the shelter exposes dogs to kennel cough that can quickly turn into an upper respiratory infection. When Billy and Mandy got sick and in danger, we devised a plan to get both of them out to safety. Billy seems a little timid which is understandable. Billy was treated for his upper respiratory infection when he arrived at the rescue and has responded well. He's also coming out of his shell a bit and is eating well enough to put on much needed weight.  With Billy being new to the rescue, we are still getting to know him. We will update Billy's bio as we learn more about him. If you are interested in learning more about Billy, please fill out an application at labradorsandfriends.org. Billy is located in Southern California.
