Meet Henry – Your Loyal Little Adventure Buddy Henry is a 2-year-old, 13-pound bundle of love with a soft black coat and soulful eyes that seem to read your every thought. A true “American blend” (we think Shih Tzu/Poodle mix), Henry came to us when his previous family could no longer care for him, and now he’s ready to find his forever home. This sweet boy is the ultimate Velcro pup—he loves to be right by your side, whether that’s on the couch, curled up on your bed, or tagging along on adventures. He’s gentle, inquisitive, and always happiest when he’s with his person. In his foster home, he’s discovering the fun of toys and chewies, and he’d love to keep exploring new things with you. Henry is looking for an active person or couple who enjoys walks, hikes, or grabbing a pup cup together. He’d also love a secure, fenced yard where he can let loose with his zoomies before snuggling up with you afterward. Because of his strong attachment to his people, he’ll do best as the only dog in the household (though he’s fine with the occasional visiting pup) and hasn’t been cat-tested. Apartment or condo living won’t be the best fit for Henry, as he doesn’t like being left alone and can use his voice to let you—and the neighbors—know it. He’ll thrive in a home with space, companionship, and plenty of love.  We do not know for sure how he is around children, so would advise older, respectful children only.
