Foster or forever home wanted, meet Naga! Naga found herself in the Lancaster shelter as a stray with no microchip or identification. She was on the legal stray hold and no one ever came to claim her. While we can't say for sure, we believe she is related to three other "strays" turned into the same shelter that we rescued last month. They all are the same age and same breeds.
When we saw how beautiful and sweet all of them were, we had to help them. Naga, like the others, was a little shy when we picked her up from the shelter but she warmed up quickly. As with all dogs spending more than a few days in the shelter, Naga is recovering from a mild upper respiratory infection. She just finished up her 10 day course of meds so we'll be scheduling her surgery to be spayed in the next week or so.
Since Naga is new to the rescue we are just getting to know her. As we learn a bit more about her we'll update her bio. For now, we know from handling at the shelter she is sweet, gentle and easily handled. If Naga sounds like a dog you'd like to meet, please head over to labradorsandfriends.org to fill out an application. Naga is located in Southern California.
