Weight: 40 lbs (as of 9/10/25)
This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.
Scotty Skittles is just as sweet as he is handsome. He loves all people and animals he has met and would rather play with smaller animals than chase them. He waits patiently in his crate for his foster family to come home and then loves to play with the kids in the yard. That is all of the activity he requires to be a happy guy. As much as he loves to run and play with the other pups or kids, he loves to settle down for some quiet time and is described as gentle, intelligent and goofy.
Scotty had a rough start and was rescued as part of a litter. His mom was in bad shape and she and two other pups unfortunately did not survive. His foster family loved Scotty so much that when the rest of the litter moved on, they wanted him to stay longer. Luckily, Scotty is healthy and he is up to date on all of his vetting. He is described as a perfect housegest, he is working on his housetraining and does not vocalize much except when he is excited to see his foster family when they get home after an 8 hour day. Scotty is such an all around great pup, he would be an amazing addition to any family. After all he has been through, he is ready for his furever home and will fit right in to yours.
An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
