Berkley is a gentle, timid soul who's waiting for the right person to help her build confidence. Once she feels safe, she shows her sweet, affectionate side and loves soaking up attention. She is food and praise motivated which would make for a great training partner. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys outings where she can relax and explore. Berkley has done well around easy-going, mellow male dogs her size. While she can be a little vocal at first, she will settle and could easily live with another pup. She is quite timid of cats and would do okay living with a dog-savvy cat who is likely to leave her alone and just coexist together.  Berkley's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Berkley is seeking an indoor only home. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, current on vaccines and preventatives, and as indoor only pets.
