Foster or forever home wanted, meet Pippa! Sweet Pippa showed up at the shelter with an injured front leg. She was painful and non-weight bearing so she was sent to an outside vet for x-rays that showed a definite break. Sadly, in the current state of the overwhelmed and overcrowded shelters, Pippa was immediately in danger. When we heard she was at risk and needed to leave the shelter today (9/16), we devised a plan to get her from the shelter to our vet right away. Even with the pain she must be in, she showers everyone with kisses. She's a typical, happy, tail wagging puppy! She even knows some basic commands like sit, down and paw! Pippa will have surgery to repair her injured leg then she'll be looking for a foster home to rest and recover in. We'll update her bio once she has surgery and we learn a bit more about her.
