Hunter is a handsome hound pup who is looking for a home. Hunter is with our partner rescue in NC but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster to adopt trial for approved adopters. Hunter was initially very shy when found as a stray pup but he is now a sweet, friendly boy who is doing very well with shelter staff and volunteers. Hunter was found with his brother Jasper. He is learning to walk on leash now and needs some basic training. Hunter can be vocal and lets you know if he has an opinion. He is a friendly loving pup!  Hunter is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. If we find a foster or adopter, we will try to get Hunter fixed and microchipped before coming to NJ but we may need to fix him here.   His adoption fee is $550.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption.
