Myrtel is a special girl with a story of resilience. When she first came to us, all she knew was life on the streets, fending for herself. She was shut down, didn’t want anything to do with people, and couldn’t walk on a leash. But with time, care, patience, and becoming the office dog, her true personality began to shine. Now, she’s the best girl on the leash, loving to play, run around, and vocalize. Myrtel has the sweetest, softest eyes you’ll ever see. She’s crate trained and learning potty training. While new people can still be scary for her, and she’s a bit hesitant about being touched near her head, she absolutely loves some butt scratches. She’s done well around kids and gets along with most dogs, though she can be a bit much sometimes. We don’t recommend her in homes with cats, as she tends to be too focused on them. Myrtel is a wonderful girl ready for a patient and loving home to help her continue to grow.
