Hi, I'm MANNY and I'm an excellent listener. I mean, have you seen my ears? I love to run and play and run some more. Do you have toys at your house? Because I love toys! I'm so handsome and fun I can't figure out why I landed in a rural shelter. That was scary. But I'm one of the lucky ones, I have a chance to find a forever home. I'm about 18 months and fully grown at 27 pounds. The folks here can't figure out my breed mix. They're calling me a Heinz 57 varieties-type mix, whatever that means. They say I have ears like a rat terrier, a face like a border collie and heaven only knows what else. Whatever. I'm a very good boy, that's all that matters, right? I like other dogs in case you were wondering. I've been told I can use a little work on my manners. Again, whatever. I'm pretty smart, I'll learn anything you want to teach me! Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
