Meet Precious — A Truly Special Senior Girl in Need of Help This is Precious, a 10-year-old, 58-lb Pit Bull Terrier who has known love her whole life — until now. She is a gentle, friendly, obedient house dog who shows zero aggression and just wants to be close to people. Precious has been spayed and received her rabies vaccine in 2024 at the EZ Pet Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic (Chase Bank location). The rescue will provide any additional vaccines and 6 months of heartworm prevention.  Great companion; we are trying to save her life. She has a LOT of life yet to give. ❤️ Her Story Precious belonged to a 75-year-old woman who became suddenly and seriously ill. She had to move into a care facility that does not allow pets, leaving Precious with nowhere to go. A kind neighbor tried to help, but a household member was allergic, and Precious could not stay. She is now living in an open garage at the home of the owner’s 78-year-old brother, who has no fenced yard and not physically able to keep her. She is in a crate in the open garage and walked several times a day.  She wants inside and trembles to be there.  Precious has always been an indoor dog, and living outside is frightening and unfamiliar for her. She urgently needs a safe, comfortable home where she can return to being a cherished companion.
