Anise is a 6-year-old shepherd/husky mix with a wise, gentle spirit and the sweetest smile. This lovely “old soul” is feeling a bit disoriented in the busy shelter, but when you talk to her softly, she offers perfect little sits and looks up at you with a grin that melts your heart. In her kennel she may do some classic husky-style vocalizing, but outside she shows her independent side—curious, alert, and ready to explore. She pulls some on leash, but she settles with guidance and is happiest when she has a calm, confident person to follow.
