Name: Wilma
Animal Type: Cat
Breed: Russian Blue (short coat)
Age: 1 Year 3 Months
Gender: Female
Adoption Code: Claire animal-tracker

Stunning 1-year old Wilma is extremely affectionate once she is comfortable in a home. Her first few days in a new place stress her out and it is best to give her some sedative in her food until she is settled; then she is a total doll, loves to be pet, loves to climb up on your shoulders, play and cuddle. She's not a fan of all cats, so we think it's best she be a solo kitty (at least at first). Maybe a kitten could be introduced later if you want a second cat. Home vet visits will be easiest unless you give her some gabapentin to calm her. She simply does not like change. But oh how lovely and wonderful she is once she knows she is safe! A total doll who will love you and be a fantastic companion. She's a dream when happy in your home. Here is a video of her:  https://youtube.com/shorts/CrsKXAOP1o8?feature=share Wilma's story is one of resilience and love. Abandoned at the doorstep in the Bronx in the dead of night, she may be selective with her feline friends, but she has a special bond with some cats and thrives in their company. With a zest for life and a love for toys, Wilma's energy is contagious and brings joy to those around her. As a special/rare breed Russian Blue mix, her adoption fee is $250. Wilma is about 1 year old and healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative and tested for parasites. Wilma is a sweet and happy cat deserving of a loving furrever home to call her own!
