Lupita is a small, elegant, sleek kitty who we think is about a year old. She came into foster with five kittens when they were about two weeks old. Based on reports, we think this was already her second litter. She was a very protective mom (from other cats but not her foster mom) but was otherwise very paws off. She was far more interested in receiving love and attention from her foster mom (or any person) than in caring for her babies, but despite this, the kittens thrived and have now been adopted. Lupita has been spayed, so she will never again have to care for kittens. She likes to play, enjoys catnip, and loves to climb on people and be held and cuddled. Lupita is still becoming acquainted with the other cats in her foster home, so it is still unclear how she feels about other cats; at the moment they make her nervous. She has met no dogs in her foster home; we have no idea what sort of dog experiences she may have had before being taken off the streets.
