Hi, my name is PeeWee because I was the smallest survivor of a litter of 5 born in a PAWS-OK foster home.  My mom was a Siberian and when she got out of her owners home for a few nights and got pregnant. They didn't want the "mixed" kittens(?).  Their loss because I am a gorgeous "mini Maine CoonX cat.  I don't like a lot of change (see my stink eye ^^^) am shy of new people, and don't like to be held and cuddled but I'm not agressive.  I'd like a quiet home where I can relax, get groomed (my hair is a chore for me) and learn to accept people touching me more. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.
