Miranda is a sweet girl who has been through a lot of change but is already showing how loving she truly is. When her owner became ill and had to move in with family, Miranda was left behind to fend for herself in the neighborhood, getting food wherever she could find it. Despite that difficult time, she has a gentle heart and just wants to feel safe and loved again. Miranda can be a little shy at first and does best with a calm, soft voice. Loud voices tend to make her hunker down, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet personality shines through. When she first arrived she was in heat, which may have contributed to some of her nervousness, but she has already made wonderful progress and continues to grow more comfortable each day. She absolutely adores kids—especially her current foster’s 12yr old granddaughter—and happily hands out lots of kisses. Miranda also does well with other dogs and enjoys their company. With a little patience, kindness, and reassurance, Miranda is going to blossom into a wonderful companion who will be deeply loyal to the family who gives her the second chance she deserves.  If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest.All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We accept Credit cards, Debit cards as well as cash. At this time we do not accept checks. Our Adoption fees for all animals cover required vetting: which includes, Rabies, Distemper Vaccine Series, Bordetella, Deworming, Heartworm Test as age appropriate, Spay or Neuter and Microchip and registration. Adoption Fees are Non Negotialble. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption.
