Hilton Howard, affectionately known as “Hilly” or “Tripod”, may be missing a leg, but she sure has an abundance of heart! This cow pattern princess is perfect for a single cat home, as she can find living with another cat stressful. She loves nothing more than to cuddle, explore, and snuggle up with you for nap time. She has been through a lot, including recently having her leg amputated, so understandably, she can be a little discerning – she may need a bit of time to trust and fully warm up to you. However, once she does Hilton Howard is the most affectionate and loving kitty you could ask for! Just let her come to you when she is ready. She doesn’t love being picked up, but really who would like being randomly lifted high in the air? She is very communicative and loves to sing to you as you come home from work, letting you know she is ready for your love and affection. She’s also very good at expressing boundaries, giving a sharp “meow” when she’s had enough, or you’ve crossed a line. She adores her head and chin being scratched; she can get a bit wary of lower-back as well as stomach. Looking after Hilton Howard is such a privilege and she will be such a joy in her new forever home.  This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
