Dixie My name is Dixie.  As you can see from my photos I am a very lovely and elegant Plot Hound Mix.  My demeanor is so mild and gentle.  I love people and other dogs.  Plot Hounds are know to be great family dogs.  I like children too!  I'm a little about 2 to 3 years old.  I have conquered the puppy stage and I am a young adult.  I am about 50 pounds and have all my vaccines.  I am scheduled to be spayed and microchipped.  Then I am ready for adoption. I know several commands and I’m learning how to walk politely on a leash. I have very good manners. I also take food very gently. I sure would like to cuddle up next to you and be your forever dog.    One little problem that I have is that I am not crazy about cats.  I tend to chase them.  It must be the hound in me since my ancestors love to hunt.  Other than that, I'm fantastic.  Contact Safe Pet Project at 706-400-7076  Ext. 2 I promise you won’t be disappointed.
