Sally is an extraordinary pup who has shown incredible resilience and determination to thrive. Despite being given some basic training, including commands and house and kennel training, she was unfortunately deprived of the opportunity to socialize with family and friends as much as she needed. However, thanks to her rescue, Sally has now arrived in the northeast and is working closely with her foster to learn the art of slow introductions and how to feel safe and secure in her new environment. Sally is a beautiful, sweet, and intelligent dog, truly a diamond in the "ruff." Affectionately known as "long legs Sally," she yearns to love and be a cherished member of a forever family. It is important for her new owner to understand that Sally requires patient and gradual socialization, particularly with men. She would greatly benefit from leash or off-leash training, where she can enjoy jogging alongside her owner. Having a backyard would also allow her to stretch her long legs and thrive. Sally possesses a special soul and is poised to flourish with love, patience, and proper training. She is an active dog with an abundance of love and companionship to offer her new family; she simply needs the gift of time.
