Flying Dutchman, or ‘Dutch’ as I like to call him for short, is quite possibly the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He absolutely loves to be petted, aggressively so sometimes. He may be initially shy but he warms up pretty quickly and soon enough will be snuggling by you to take a nap. Dutch is a very curious guy and will likely take his time to sniff everything and get a lay of the land before finding some comfortable spots to claim for his nap times. He is initially scared of new guests but after a proper introduction, he is happy to be petted and snuggle with spare humans.  Dutch also loves to play with his toys and jump on cardboard boxes. He has the most energy later in the night and early in the morning so be ready to see some fun zoomies. He isn’t a picky eater but gets excited when it’s time for food or snack time and will jump all over you to tell you he’s ready to eat and enjoy. Dutch tolerates being picked up for short periods of time but generally likes to explore on his own. He loves to climb and jump so any high ground is game for him. He likes to scratch on fabric surfaces but quickly adjusted to a scratching post. He would enjoy a home that is active and provides a lot of toys and high ground to occupy him. This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.
