Beansprout is a great companion for someone who leads a busy daytime life as he loves to sleep the day away and greet you when you get home. It takes Beansprout a little while to trust you but once he does it’s very rewarding as he’ll come snuggle you on the couch or sit by you wherever you are in your home. He is a curious cat who loves to sniff and explore any new items that come into the house. Beansprout is a very affectionate cat, but on his own terms. He’ll make it known when he wants to be pet and loves to rub against your legs (especially when it’s time for a treat) and purr next to you!  He likes to play with his mouse toy and chase any cat string toy. He doesn’t like to be held but loves to roll on his back when he is happy. He is very content inside, without other cats and is happy to look out the window and explore various soft areas for sleeping. He loves sleeping in front of the radiator on a cold day. As a polydactyl, his nails on the extra toes must be trimmed or they grow into his pad. He was outside and starving for a long time, his nails growing into his foot pads making it painful to walk or move. He must have truly had a miserable existence.
