This beautiful hound/lab mix is Scarlett and she was born around 5/8/2023. Scarlett has been absolutely thriving in her foster home, and her foster dad has nothing but the best to say about this precious girl. Scarlett loves everyone she meets, dogs and people alike. She does fine with cats, but has a lot of interest in them-so a home without felines is probably the best fit. Scarlett needs a home with children so that she can run & play with them to get all her energy out. She loves spending time outside, especially on the boat with her foster dad! But if left unattended in the yard for long periods of time tends to start digging. She is already crate trained, potty trained, and does perfectly in the car.  Would you believe Animal Control came out and picked up the mom but left Scarlett and her brother Rhett behind?  Unbelievable!! Our Rescue is already beyond full but we couldn't leave these little puppies alone to fend for themselves and possibly get hit by a car!  Scarlett is a very sweet and loving puppy who is ready for her forever home. If you're not in a position to adopt, Scarlett would love to be in a Foster home! Since Scarlett will be a medium sized dog when she's fully grown, we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization.
