This sweet, shy girl came to us from Mississippi shelter, and she's now living the good life in a loving foster home. Luna hadn't had much socialization before she came in to rescue and we're so proud of the progress that she's made! Luna is super smart and responsive to training, and she's completed a basic training course and now knows her commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and is learning how to meet strangers without barking. She's building self-confidence and loving her life! Luna is just great with other playful dogs, and she tends to leave the older, cranky ones alone. We have found her to be fearful of dogs that are much larger than her- she's not aggressive, but she will tremble, cower, and try to hide so we will not be adopting her to a home with very large dogs.  She loves to play with toys, and loves her cuddle and lap time. Luna is super affectionate with those she knows and trusts! We do recommend using caution when introducing Luna to new people because it takes her a minute to trust a new face. She is very food, motivated and treats go along way in building trust. Luna would be happiest in a home with another friendly, playful, dog, or two and a family that's going to continue to build her self-confidence and social skills. She's a wonderful, loyal, loving companion!
