Despite enduring unimaginable hardships Pixie's spirit remains unbroken. Now, she's searching for her forever home filled with warmth, kindness, and endless belly rubs. Can you help erase the pain of her past and give Pixie the love and security she deserves? See more about her below... Hello, I'm Pixie, a resilient 5-6yr old Chihuahua with a heart full of love. After a year of enduring the harsh streets alone, my world changed when compassionate hands rescued me. At 10 lbs, I'm a delightful goofball seeking a forever home filled with kindness and patience. Initially shy, I blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion once I feel safe. Picture a home with a big backyard where I can frolic freely – I yearn for playtime, and your love can heal the wounds of my past. I'm a lap dog at heart, finding solace pressed against you or nestled in your lap for belly rubs. I've mastered the art of using wee wee pads when left alone, and I'll even signal when nature calls. Walks are a joy, and I get along well with other dogs, despite the loneliness I endured for that challenging year. Despite the shadows that haunt my past, I'm incredibly affectionate, quick to learn, and a true embodiment of love. My foster mom raves about my good nature, and your love could be the missing piece in my journey to healing.  Pixie's adoption fee is $400 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed fenced in yard (front or back) is also required  To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application.
