Meet Garbanzo – Your New Best Friend! Garbanzo is a 2-year-old, 51-pound bundle of love looking for his forever home! This sweet pup was found as a stray and is now ready to fill your life with joy and cuddles. He’s a friendly, affectionate young dog who thrives on human companionship and will happily shower you with love. Whether it’s playtime, cuddling on the couch, or a fun walk around the neighborhood, Garbanzo is always excited to be by your side. Garbanzo is treat-motivated (and takes them super gently!) and knows how to "sit" on command. He’s still working on his leash manners, but with a little guidance, he’ll be a walking pro. He can get a bit jumpy when excited, but he’s quick to learn and will appreciate your patience as you help him refine his manners, like “four on the floor” and walking politely on leash. Garbanzo was a bit sensitive meeting other dogs at the shelter. He would do best in a home as the only dog or perhaps with a well-matched dog buddy. He’s shown to be friendly with people and even co-existed happily with a cat in his temporary foster home!
