MEDICAL HOLD Adoption Donation: $499 Location: MS (Transportation to the Northeast included in adoption donation.) Age: Approx 2 years old Weight: Approx 35 lbs.   Copper was found abandoned out in a field on a freezing cold night when a woman found him and brought him in from the cold. After posting in her community for lost dogs no one claimed him. The woman called foster mom Misty to take him in, which she did. Anchor Paws Rescue agreed to take him into Rescue and started vetting right away. Copper received his vaccines was neutered and Micro chipped and heartworm tested and tested positive. We have started heartworm treatment which will take several months. Foster mom Misty and foster dad Shane say Copper is a great loving boy who loves everyone he meets including other dogs. Misty says he just wants to be with people and at night will lay by your feet. This boy has wiggled right into their bed at night! Yes, he sleeps with his foster parents. :) Copper is on hold for medical treatment for heartworm. We are hoping to have here in RI by May or a little sooner.
