Meet Mama Dee! She is one unique girl--she has the body of a Bassett Hound with the coat of a German Shepherd--making her 110% beautiful. Mama Dee would be a DREAM addition to any family. Not only does she do well with other pups and kids, she adapts to new environments quickly and without fear or hesitation. She has many stand-out qualities--she's affectionate, clever, gentle, goofy, independent, patient, playful, and quiet, just to name a few. To top it all off, she is house trained and does well in the car (she just needs a boost to get in).
We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog.

**Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
